Pair of Early 20th Century Mahogany Bedside Cupboards with Drawer

A good quality and attractive pair of early 20th century mahogany bedside cupboards, offering a classic and practical design suitable for both traditional and contemporary interiors. Crafted from richly toned mahogany, each cupboard stands on a moulded plinth base and is topped with a nicely figured rectangular top with a gently moulded edge.

Each cabinet features a single drawer to the top, fitted with decorative brass drop handles and a central key escutcheon, above a panelled cupboard door with turned wooden knob. The doors open to reveal a spacious interior with a fixed shelf, providing useful storage for books, personal items or bedside essentials.

The warm colour and attractive grain of the mahogany give these cupboards a timeless elegance, while their compact proportions make them ideal as bedside tables, lamp stands or small side cabinets. Their simple, understated lines allow them to blend easily with a range of interiors from period homes to modern settings seeking antique character.

Both cupboards are well made and sturdy, with solid construction and traditional joinery, including dovetailed drawers. A handsome and practical pair that would make a charming addition to a bedroom, guest room or sitting room.
