A fine quality 18th Century walnut dressing table mirror of elegant serpentine outline, retaining its original strut back support.
The moulded walnut frame is enriched with a finely carved gilt slip surrounding an old mirror plate displaying attractive age-related foxing and wear, adding to its period character. Raised on shaped scrolling feet, the mirror has a wonderfully balanced Georgian design that would complement both traditional and contemporary interiors.
A handsome and decorative example of an original Georgian dressing table, toilet or shaving mirror.
Presented in good antique condition with expected wear commensurate with age and use.
