Angus Stirling "On Lydeard Hill" - Acrylic on board. Signed with initials and dated 2010. Educated at Eton College and Trinity College, Cambridge. From the 1990's Stirling's work became vibrant with abstracted landscapes a common theme. His paintings are filled with wonderfully bold colours heavily influenced by the works of Keith Vaughn, Howard Hodgkin and Ivon Hitchens. Of these three the similarity between this and that of Hitchens work is the most apparent.
