Dimensions:
A good quality Georgian mahogany side table dating from the early 19th century, retaining a well-figured solid mahogany top above a single long drawer fitted with original brass swan-neck handles.
The table stands on square tapering legs united to the frieze by attractive pierced Gothic-style corner brackets, a feature often associated with the late Georgian period. The drawer is oak-lined and traditionally constructed with hand-cut dovetail joints.
A useful and versatile piece, ideal as a lamp table, hall table, writing table or occasional table. Presented in good antique condition with a rich warm colour and pleasing patina acquired through age and use.
