A handsome early 19th century bow fronted mahogany chest of drawers, dating to circa 1810,  of excellent colour. The richly figured mahogany veneers display a warm, deep tone with beautiful natural movement throughout, enhancing the overall presence of the piece.

The chest is arranged with two short drawers over three long graduating drawers, all oak-lined and traditionally constructed with hand-cut dovetail joints. Each drawer is fitted with circular ring drop handles and original locks.

The gently shaped front and bracket feet give the piece a refined Georgian silhouette, making it both visually appealing and highly versatile within a range of interiors. The top retains a lovely mellow patina, consistent with age and careful use.

A practical and decorative antique, offering generous storage while bringing timeless English craftsmanship into the home. Ideal for a bedroom, hallway, or reception room, this chest combines classic proportions with enduring quality.
